The USMNT schedule for 2025 is crucial as the clock is ticking with just one year to go until a World Cup on home soil.
Mauricio Pochettino is under pressure after the USMNT lost to Panama in the CONCACAF Nations League in the semifinals and then to Canada in the third-place match in March.

With key friendlies coming up before the Gold Cup, key players such as Christian Pulisic, Yunus Musah, Weston McKennie, Antonee Robinson, Josh Sargent and Tim Weah all missing due to a variety of reasons such as requesting rest, Club World Cup duties and lack of form.
There was real hope and belief around the USMNT after Pochettino was hired to take the team in a better direction following Gregg Berhalter’s summer departure after the Yanks were dumped out of the 2024 Copa America on home soil in the group stage. But now Pochettino’s honeymoon is over.
This is a huge summer for Poch as he tries to get the USMNT fanbase back on side during the Gold Cup, plus they have two really important friendlies on home soil in September against South Korea and Japan.
